A few days ago I discovered a piece of heaven right here in London! It is a newly opened and furnished Lebanese resturant, right in the heart of this bustling metropolis. What immediately attracted me to this fine establishement is the smell emanating from the kitchen. I was walking outside and suddenly I smelt the distinct flavour of Lebanese kebabs - so like a true Lebanese I followed my nose... Being a skeptic by nature I thought "Here we go, yet another Lebanese restaurant..." but the smell of the kebabs got the better of me and I soon found myself on a table with a few mezze and a mixed grill. I over-ordered, over-ate and it was DELICIOUS! This is true Lebanese home cooking that even beats some restaurants in Lebanon. The food was simply divine and succulent, with the flavours intact. I found myself back in Charcoal Grill a few times over the course of the week and I am yet to discover something that I do not like. The prices are very reasonable and the food is superb. The team is made up of a Lebanese chef and sou chefs - all enthusiastic and passionate about the food. If you like Lebanese food, this is the place to go and try.
